Your career as a proposal professional
Win business, gain support and boost your career
Professor Nigel Hudson holds the world's first professorship in Proposal Management and has a PhD in how we learn through experience in a demanding career.
Look forward to a sharp and inspiring keynote as he opens the Proposal Conference with a presentation on three key issues that will ensure more business, greater stakeholder buy-in and career acceleration.
At the Proposal Conference, you will be able to book a free 1:1 sparring session with the professor, where you can get sparring on anything from career, proposal processes or something completely different.

Proposal writing
The biggest blunders i've made in bidding – and what i've learned from them
Sussi brings not only a deep understanding of proposal processes but also a passion for effective communication and design. Her practical approach to creating vibrant and engaging proposals provides concrete tools to improve your own proposals.

AI for the proposal department
AI case with Nordstern & COWI
René is currently working on an AI implementation project in the proposal department at COWI and Nordstern. In September, he will share the results with the entire proposal industry. As the founder of Orbit Online, he is behind one of the market's leading SaaS platforms that supports the entire project lifecycle.
Organisational focus
How to get the business on board
A recurring challenge in proposal work is engaging key employees in the business to contribute to the preparation of proposals. In his presentation, Jesper will share concrete actions that can promote both the allocation and motivation of professionals – and, in particular, how to get useful proposal material out of your colleagues.

Proposal writing
Writing to be heard
Tine's mission is to raise the standard of tenders and proposals throughout Denmark by prioritising clear communication over legal complexity.
In Tine's presentation, you will receive concrete tips for clear and trustworthy communication in your proposals, ensuring that your customer feels seen, heard and confident in the collaboration.

Sustainability
Sales, management and sustainability
Kristina Jordt Adsersen brings years of experience in sustainable urban development, business growth and management. In her presentation, she will share five key insights on how to create a connection between sales, leadership and sustainability. She focuses on how to target and create a common direction between customers, strategy and social responsibility - with concrete cases as a starting point.

Public procurement law
Clients - What are they thinking about?
Sales is about trust and value. How do you break the habit of a client who sees procurement as an operational task? First step - turn off the computer. If you want to know more, listen to Holger's presentation. With 10 years of experience as a project manager and procurement lawyer in the Ministry of Defence and the DR, he has a lot of knowledge to share.
Communication
5 Good tips to avoid prequal-nausea
How do we communicate complex projects convincingly? Jennifer Dahm Petersen, an architect MAA and partner at Open Platform, has worked strategically with architecture and communication for decades. At the conference, she will share her insights on how effective communication can strengthen the proposal process.

Public procurement law
Legal tripwires
Anders Nørgaard and Mikala Berg Dueholm are both specialists in procurement law and partners at DLA Piper. They advise public and private sector clients on a daily basis and have extensive experience with complex procurement processes, contracts, and disputes.
In this session, they will highlight the most common legal pitfalls that, at worst, could cost you the contract. Using real-life examples, they will share practical tips on how to ensure the legal side does not undermine an otherwise strong proposal.

Collaboration
Build a strong proposal organisation
How do you move from a scattered proposal process to a strategically strong proposal organisation? Over five years, Lise has established an internal proposal team at Bravida Denmark, transforming a fragmented approach into an efficient model. In this presentation, she shares her key insights, crucial decisions, and the principles that ensure successful handling of even large, complex proposals – without external assistance.

Executive Summary
The most important section of the proposal
The executive summary sets the tone for the entire proposal – and is often the only section decision-makers read. Therefore, it must be concise, customer-focused, and strategically well thought out.
In this presentation, Torben explains who should prepare the first draft, when it should be done, and how the executive summary is actively used in both the planning and writing phases.

AI for the proposal department
AI in the context of an proposal
For more than 18 years, Kristian has worked with proposals for national and international companies. In his presentation, he will go through examples of what AI (GenAI) can be used for in a proposal context. Based on specific tasks as a bid manager, the presentation will include examples of how you can use AI in a proposal context.

Recruitment
Too few people. Too many tasks. What do we do?
Finding the right people for proposal work is a challenge – and the competition for candidates is only getting tougher. In her session, Liv Skakfjord shares practical steps that make it easier for managers to succeed in recruitment - and shows how employees can play an active role in securing the future of the industry.
